Find the session you want on the class list, then click "Request" (early-bird does need to be requested).
Choose the appropriate discount then click it (Note that not all discounts are available for all sessions.).
Provide the requested information then click "Submit".

After your request is submitted you will receive an automated confirmation via email (this is not a discount code). No later than 24 hours later you will receive an email with a response to your request. If you are approved you will have a click-able link that will automatically apply your discount.

Public Training Discounts

You may be able to save money if you register early, are an alumni, are attending with a group, or if you are collecting unemployment

There are number of discounts available for you. Alumni (those that have attended prior Grow - Lean training) can get the best prices. Other discounts are available for those registering early, groups (three or more registrants), hardship, etc.

You can request a discount directly from the class list.

Early-Bird
Register early to save money. The best rates applying when you register five or more weeks prior to a session.
  • Early-bird can be combined with an alumni discount, but does not combine with any other discount.
  • You do not have to request an early-bird, but, if you are alumni please request that discount (it will be combined).
  • Early-bird discounts expire, so use them while they are available.
Alumni Discount
Prior attendees of Grow-Lean Training Certified Training can get a discounted price that can be combined with the early-bird.
  • Available to prior attendees of Grow-Lean Certified Training.
  • Cannot be combined with discounts other than early-bird.
  • Can be combined with early-bird, so it benefits you to register in advance.
Group
Coming with three or more people to one session, then request a group discount.
  • Grow-Lean will evaluate the request based on the number of attendees. More attendees results in larger discounts.
  • Cannot be combined with other discounts.
  • Request and use early as based on room sizes, these discounts are not always available.
Self-Pay
Working for a company that won't pay for training, request a self-pay discount, worth up to $200 off, of regular rate.
  • Cannot be combined with other discounts.
  • For use by those that work for an employer that does not reimburse for training.
  • Early-bird rate is usually lower, so check that first.
Hardship
If you are collecting unemployment benefits, and have a state unemployment document, then request a hardship discount.
  • Not combinable with any other discount.
  • Submit a copy of state unemployment compensation document.
  • Register early as supplies are limited and discount is based off of current price which goes up.

  2. Choose the appropriate discount.
    • Review the discounts for the session.
    • Click the link for the appropriate discount (or find another class).
  3. Provide the data required for the request then click the "Submit" button.

Basic facts about the exam

  • No additional charge to take the exam.
  • Must attend the course prior to taking the exam.
  • Exam is taken off site, from any Internet connected location, but is closed book.
  • You will likely require additional study to prior to taking exam.
  • Exam name: SAFe® Lean Portfolio Manager Exam
  • Exam format: Multiple choice
  • Exam delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed
  • Exam access: Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of the Lean Portfolio Management course
  • Exam duration: Once the exam begins, candidates have 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete the exam
  • Number of questions: 60
  • Passing score: 42 out of 60 (70%)
  • Language: English
  • Exam cost: Your first attempt is included as part of your course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $50.
  • Retake policy: Second attempt on exam (first retake) can be done immediately after first attempt. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait.
